23rd Annual Armada Golf Classic Has Been Canceled

Since late June, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 has been growing in North Central Washington. As of July 31st, there were more active cases of COVID-19 in our community than in March and April, and as these number increase, more patients will need treatment at Central Washington Hospital. Our healthcare system is not immune to staff shortages, and any increase in new cases of COVID-19 places a strain on our community’s limited resources. Therefore, we must act judiciously.

In solidarity with the healthcare providers at Confluence Health and throughout the region, we have decided to cancel the 23^rd Annual Armada Golf Classic. We recognize that golf is a lower-risk activity; however, at this time we feel that bringing together members of our community, sponsors, staff, and friends, would introduce an opportunity—however small that may be—for the transmission of COVID-19.

The Confluence Health Foundation will continue to prioritize efforts that support our healthcare system’s ability to respond to COVID-19.
