Printing Joy: Spreading Holiday Cheer with 3D Creativity

This year marked the fifth annual Christmas Print Drive, an initiative spearheaded by local YouTuber and Twitch live streamer Loyal Moses. Driven by a passionate community of volunteers and donors in the 3D printing space, the drive brings together individuals who design, print, package, and ship 3D-printed toys to children and families in need across the globe. At its heart, the event aims to inspire others through the creativity of 3D printing, while bringing joy to families during a season that can often be challenging.

The gifts distributed through the drive come from a truly global network, with toys produced by volunteers in Europe, Asia, Australia, the U.S., Canada, and beyond. Loyal, his wife Eileen, and their children devote nearly three months each year to organizing, sorting, cleaning, quality-checking, packaging, shipping, and delivering thousands of gifts.

“It’s an overwhelming effort—but also one of the most fulfilling things we do as a family and as a community,” Loyal shared, reflecting on the dedication and teamwork that make the initiative possible.

While 3D printers can produce much more than toys, these creations offer a special opportunity to inspire younger generations. The moment a child holds a 3D print for the first time can be transformative—it’s the realization that they can create nearly anything they imagine. The drive seeks to share this sense of possibility, hoping to spark creativity and make a lasting, positive impact on children’s lives.

This year, the drive delivered nearly 6,000 gifts, each thoughtfully packaged with a toy, wrapping paper, candy, a card, and stickers for added fun. Loyal and his wife personally delivered 100 of these toys to Confluence Health for pediatric patients. “We genuinely love serving others and using our platform in meaningful ways,” Loyal said.
