Criteria for each scholarship is listed below.

Scholarship funds are made possible by generous donations from caring people in our community. It is our privilege to help you further your education. Please review the criteria for each award and apply for those that pertain to you. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, whenever possible, for more than one category.  Awards will be announced in May and scholarship funding will be available for one year beginning on the award date. THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES INCURRED PRIOR TO AWARD DATE.

Applications must be completed and submitted through our online application manager. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all requirements are complete. It is strongly encouraged that applicants give references ample time to complete reference form and to follow up with them to make sure they’ve been completed.

Award

Confluence Health Employee Scholarship
  • Currently employed at Confluence Health for at least one year
  • Plan to continue employment at Confluence Health
  • Unused funds forfeited upon termination
  • Accepted degree to enhance current position or advancement potential
  • GPA of 2.0 or higher
Multiple awards covering tuition, books and fees (acceptance, registration, lab and technology fees only)
Wenatchee Valley Street Rods Scholarship
  • Currently employed at Confluence Health for at least one year
  • Plan to continue employment at Confluence Health
  • Unused funds forfeited upon termination
  • Recent community service
  • Accepted degree to enhance current position or advancement potential
  • GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Priority given to family of WVSR members & family members
Three annual awards of $1,500 for tuition, books and fees (acceptance, registration, lab and technology fees only)
Margaret Weed RN to BSN Scholarship
  • Acceptance in Wenatchee Valley College BSN program
  • Chelan, Douglas, Grant or Okanogan County resident
  • Open to anyone
One award of $1,500 for tuition, books, and fees (acceptance, registration, lab and technology fees only)
Dianne Kasnic Prinz
RN to BSN Completion
  • Employed as RN in Chelan, Douglas, Grant or Okanogan County
  • Enrolled in BSN program
  • Intend to remain employed in NCW
  • Preference given to those attending Wenatchee Valley College
  • Open to anyone
One award of $2,500 for RN to BSN completion for tuition, books and fees (acceptance, registration, lab and technology fees only)
Jean Wood Nursing Award
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • 2nd year student in WVC nursing program
  • Chelan/Douglas County resident
  • Open to anyone
One award (up to $5,768) at Wenatchee Valley College for tuition, books and fees (acceptance, registration, lab and technology fees only)
Oncology Grateful Patient Scholarship
  • Child or grandchild of a Confluence Health employee 
  • Enrolled in a healthcare/medical major
  • Attending a traditional four-year college or university (this would not include “online only” or community colleges)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree
Multiple awards possible, with varying amounts.
Wilson Nursing Scholarship
  • Currently employed at Confluence Health for at least one year
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • 2nd year student in WVC nursing program
  • Chelan, Douglas, Grant or Okanogan County resident
  • Unused funds forfeited upon termination
One award of $6,000 at Wenatchee Valley College for tuition, books and fees (acceptance, registration, lab and technology fees only)
