Donation from Coordinated Care Supports Vaccine Equity Work

We feel lucky to have partners like Coordinated Care.

This month, they provided a $10,000 grant to help support our Vaccine Equity Initiative, which is driven by local leader, Teresa Bendito and five Madrinas de Salud. The goal of the Vaccine Equity Initiative is to break down barriers to vaccine uptake and improve vaccination rates among the Latinx community by promoting culturally relevant outreach and education and hosting community vaccine clinics at Confluence Health.

Coordinated Care has generously provided us with funding that will help us expand the impact of this program. The Madrinas will use the funds to purchase promotional items that will help spread awareness about the importance of the vaccine and generate interested in getting vaccinated.
