Proud and Hopeful

Although the Confluence Health Foundation team is social distancing and working remotely whenever possible, it’s still easy to see the widespread heroics of our community. Whether it is essential workers fulfilling the basic needs of the community or parents working fulltime with toddlers at home, everyone is doing their part.

With this in mind, we want to take a moment to recognize the dedication demonstrated by our colleagues at Confluence Health. Confluence Health leadership has been working tirelessly to ensure employees are safe, essential services continue to function, and the critical healthcare needs of our community are met. Medical staff, including our providers, nurses, and others are working in the face of uncertainty. Their poise and devotion are reminders that we are in good hands. Facilities and logistics teams are there for us, making sure the healthcare environment is safe for employees and patients alike. True to form, our IT team has demonstrated a new level of flexibility – they rolled out virtual visits while supporting hundreds of employee transitions to remote operations. Finally, who can forget marketing and human resources? They keep critical communication flowing throughout the organization so that we can all work together as efficiently as possible.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that large organizations like Confluence Health reflect the greater community of North Central Washington. They are neighbors, friends, and family members, and they are strong, adaptable, and fearless. We at the Confluence Health Foundation are proud to support this great organization and hopeful because of the caliber of people working to protect the health of our community.
